Friday , (original 16'00)

Friday explores the limitations of language in conveying lived experience. To communicate and connect beyond words, we turn to alternative systems—one of which is the construction of shared experiences through play and games. Set in a nightclub, the work stages two actresses who blend speech and vocalisations with gestures and movements drawn from activities of play, following a partly scripted, partly improvised, scenario.
