


And then she said, "You have a future, but it looks a lot like your past" is a collaborative project with the artist and performer Marijke De Roover. The film and live performance centres around Écriture féminine, or "women's writing" as a way of decentring conventional modes of writing, claiming space and giving rise to feminist voices as an ecstatic torrent of words. A group of six women explore trauma and collectivity, whilst making reference to popular-culture with an associative and non-linear musical narrative.
