Mash up #2 (2020), performance, M HKA
Mash up #2 is a performance that focuses on the cut as a physical and brutal force. The performer repeatedly peels a potato whilst ensuing a dramatic and shifting monologue premised on austerity rhetoric, street rap battles and angry protest chants. The work was performed in the framework of the exhibition Zonder kunstenaars geen kunst at M HKA, Antwerp.
